On the September 30 broadcast of Bound By Books, Antonia and Em talked about Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins, Book 2 in the Hunger Games Trilogy, which has a movie adaptation coming to the big screen this fall (we are very excited)! Em also discussed two recent reads Who Could That Be At This Hour?, the first book in the All the Wrong Questions series by Lemony Snicket and Hildafolk by Luke Pearson. September 30 was also our first show of the WGXC Fall Pledge Drive and so in addition to talking about books we also talked about how much we appreciate WGXC and encouraged listeners to call in and show their support. If you wish to join the fun and make a tax deductible donation in support of WGXC Hands-on Radio, feel free to call in at 518-828-0290 or donate online at wgxc.org/donate. We’ll be donating a teen book to an area library for each donation received during our show!

We don’t include the songs played during the show in the archives, but if you want to hear the music we shared, feel free to check out the YouTube videos below. Bathtime in Clerkenwell by The Real Tuesday Weld is played at the start of every show and we love the animated music video created by Alex Budovsky. Em and Antonia both love Regina Spektor and Nirvana, so we decided to share two favorites from those artists as well:
